Job description

Description

The Data Governance Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s enterprise data assets are accurate, consistent, and usable across the organization. This role will support data governance processes, master data management (MDM) operations, stakeholder engagement, and AI literacy initiatives that enable the business to make datadriven decisions, improve operational efficiency, and unlock value from data assets.

You will work closely with crossfunctional teams—including Operations, Finance, IT, and Digital Transformation—to manage business entities (projects, clients, vendors, employees, etc.), understand and analyze the data that supports them and the relationships between them in the core systems. The analyst will also help assess AI use cases, ensuring they are supported by clean, wellgoverned data.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Governance:

o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Develop and implement data and AI solutions to enhance business processes and drive growth.

· Conduct data analysis using SQL and Python to derive actionable insights.

· Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies.

· Provide customerfacing support, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.

· Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications:

· Strong business acumen and understanding how data and business interact.

· Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders.

· Experience in change management, facilitating smooth transitions and adoption of new systems.

· Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

· Exposure to data catalog tools preferred (Alation, Collibra, DataHub)

· MDM experience – a plus!

· Familiarity with the construction industry – a plus!

· Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI technologies & concepts

· Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
