Application Security Engineer

Qualifications.

• Strong experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks, Java, and C# .NET.
• Knowledge of containerization basics (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Python scripting for automation or tool integration.
• Handson experience with static code analysis tools and vulnerability scanners.
• Ability to analyze, triage, and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and common application security risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and CICD pipelines.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing security tools within CICD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
