Position Summary



SimpliGov is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Professional Services to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of our services organization. This high-impact role is central to advancing customer success, optimizing project delivery, and accelerating the adoption of SimpliGov’s digital process automation platform.


As the Professional Services leader, will be responsible for developing a high-performing team, defining and scaling service offerings, integrating AI to drive efficiency and customer outcomes, and ensuring world-class delivery standards. This leader will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to craft a modern, efficient, and repeatable services engine that enables our customers to realize value quickly and consistently. This is a remote position open to candidates in the United States.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Innovation

  • Lead the vision and roadmap for SimpliGov’s Professional Services organization with a focus on scalability, repeatability, and customer value.
  • Champion the integration of AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance customer experience, improve internal efficiency, and increase visibility into project status and success metrics.
  • Design and refine modular, best-practice service packages that accelerate time-to-value and support diverse customer needs across industries and segments.

Team Development & Operational Excellence

  • Hire, retain, and develop a high-performing team of consultants, project managers, and implementation experts who deliver outstanding results.
  • Establish and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability through structured onboarding, skills development, and coaching frameworks.
  • Implement clear, data-driven metrics for utilization, quality, project profitability, and customer outcomes.

Customer-Centric Execution

  • Own the end-to-end delivery process — from onboarding through go-live — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
  • Leverage AI-enabled dashboards, alerts, and collaboration tools to maintain real-time visibility into project health, proactively manage risk, and elevate transparency with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless transitions post-implementation and drive long-term value realization.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Growth Enablement

  • Collaborate with Sales to scope services for new opportunities, participate in strategic deal cycles, and shape statements of work (SOWs) that align with customer goals.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to close feedback loops and ensure that field insights inform roadmap prioritization.
  • Own forecasting and P&L for the Professional Services function, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and efficient resource planning.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • 10+ years of Professional Services experience in a SaaS or digital transformation environment, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Director, Sr. Director, VP).
  • Proven success scaling a services organization in a growth-stage SaaS company with annual services revenue >$1M.
  • Expertise in designing packaged service offerings that are easy to sell, deliver, and measure.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, waterfall, hybrid), and modern services tools/platforms (e.g., PSA, AI-driven project reporting).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills — from the C-suite to frontline teams.
  • Demonstrated success in integrating AI into services delivery for efficiency and insight.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing services P&L, utilization targets, and delivery KPIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPM, etc.) preferred.
