Job description

Dave is on a mission to level the financial playing field. We’ve helped millions of members access fairer financial services—and we’re just getting started. As Sr. Manager of Financial Platform Operations, you’ll lead the systems and partnerships that power how money moves through our ecosystem.

You’ll own daytoday operations and longterm strategy across key infrastructure partners—processors, sponsor banks, and card networks like Visa and Mastercard. Your work will shape how we scale, reduce cost, and deliver great experiences for our members.

This is a handson leadership role, with high visibility across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Compliance. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to launch new products, manage risk, and continuously improve how our platform runs behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage critical partner relationships, including payment processors, card issuers, sponsor banks, and networks

  • Ensure operational excellence across all partner workflows—SLAs, performance monitoring, escalations, and root cause resolution

  • Enable product launches by supporting partner integrations and readiness for new capabilities and use cases

  • Own reconciliation accuracy and financial reporting across platforms to support compliance and accounting

  • Identify and implement improvements to tooling, processes, and partner performance to support scale

  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and network rule updates—and translate those into clear operational plans

  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage cost structures to improve platform efficiency

  • Lead and grow a small team, setting clear goals and building a collaborative, highaccountability culture

  • Share insights with senior leadership and help guide strategic decisions across payments and infrastructure

    • What We’re Looking For
      • 8+ years in payments, fintech infrastructure, or banking operations

      • Deep experience with card issuing, transaction processing, ACH, and realtime payments

      • Strong track record managing external partners and vendor performance

      • Proven success enabling product launches and supporting gotomarket readiness

      • Financial and operational acumen—able to model costs, manage vendors, and improve unit economics

      • Experience with incident management, platform monitoring, and scaling operational systems

      • Strong communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills, especially in ambiguous environments

      • Experience hiring and managing highperforming operations or vendorfacing teams

      • Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks related to payments
