About the Role: The Evaluation and Data Analyst works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evaluation activities for continuous clinical and organizational quality improvement. This role offers a hybrid arrangement between work-from-home and CASA’s downtown office.
The Evaluation and Data Analyst will:
Develop and implement program-specific logic models and evaluation frameworks in collaboration with clinical leadership and clinical teams.
Contribute to the development and implementation of an organization-wide evaluation framework.
Apply appropriate use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and approaches to evaluation (e.g., evaluation design, measure selection/development, data collection, data analysis).
Identify, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets at the clinical program and organizational level.
Collect, enter and clean data for analysis.
Work with spreadsheets and databases, including using programming languages such as R to extract and integrate data from multiple sources and automate processes.
Ensure data quality and integrity.
Respond to data and reporting requests as needed.
Translate healthcare data into insights and recommendations.
Prepare internal and external reports for various stakeholders including funders and community partners, and CASA’s Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team and clinical leadership.
Prepare a variety of communication and knowledge translation materials such as reports, infographics and presentations.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or PhD in a health-related field, such as epidemiology, program evaluation, public health, health sciences, medicine or psychology.
Experience developing evaluation plans and/or frameworks, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Experience applying research and evaluation methods.
Experience analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in a minimum of one statistical programming language such as R, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Python or SQL.
Knowledge of data quality management practices.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Class 5 driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
