As an established EdTech company, we make a difference in the lives of thousands of teachers and students every day through our programs, including the History Alive!, Social Studies Alive!, and Bring Science Alive! series.

We are seeking a dynamic Multi-Media Manager to lead video content creation and shape our social media presence. This strategic and hands-on role will serve both Product and Marketing, combining high-impact video storytelling with engaging social media execution. This position blends creative video production with social media strategy. The role reports to the Director of Marketing and will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams.

Video Production

  • Own the end-to-end process for video projects—from concept, editing, to project management of studio shoots.
  • Create short-form promotional videos, product walkthroughs, and educational content for use across web, platform, and presentations.
  • Operate and maintain a small in-house studio with lighting, cameras, and audio gear.
  • Hire and coordinate freelance talent (actors, voiceover artists, etc.) as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s digital video and image assets.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and publish content across TCI’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).
  • Develop social video content, graphics, and messaging to boost engagement and expand brand reach.
  • Collaborate with marketing and community teams to feature educator stories, product updates, and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on social metrics and optimize content for performance.

Strategy & Communication

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align video and social media initiatives with company goals.
  • Recommend formats, creative approaches, and schedules for video + social content delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in short-form video and educator engagement.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce a high volume of content at high quality
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Experience managing (content/reporting) brand social media channels (paid and organic)
  • Must be located in the Northern California (within 3 hour drive of Palo Alto)  area to access TCI’s studio space
