Summary of the Job:

 

We’re seeking a Director-level technical leader to own the design, configuration, and delivery of scalable, automated decisioning solutions that support underwriting and account management strategies. This role requires deep technical expertise in decisioning platforms, API integrations, and workflow automation, along with the ability to lead cross-functional implementation efforts. Experience with Provenir Studio is preferred but not required—we’re looking for someone who can translate complex business requirements into high-performing technical solutions.

About This Role:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of decisioning workflows that drive real-time, automated decisions.
  • Develop and configure solutions using JavaScript, REST APIs, XML/JSON, and third-party data integrations.
  • Integrate credit bureau data, fraud detection tools, identity verification services, and Python-based models into decision flows.
  • Collaborate across Product, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure alignment on scope, functionality, and delivery timelines.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and design specifications.
  • Provide leadership to technical implementation teams—breaking down complex projects, setting direction, and ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical design, solution architecture, or decisioning system implementation—preferably within Financial Services.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with REST APIs, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of decisioning engines and automated workflow configuration (e.g., Provenir, Blaze, Zoot, etc.).
  • Provenir experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with credit bureau data, fraud/identity systems, and operationalizing Python models.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or owning delivery of complex implementation projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly across audiences.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $105,443.00-$179,253.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
