Job description

The Regional Specialist is responsible for the analysis and entry of business content, reporting, and support for a team's processes, programs, systems, an database updates and management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform day to day administration, analysis, data entry, maintenance, reporting, processes related to staff's gift data management, and specific responsibility for the following duties: Organize, review, validate, and submit gift documentation for the final audit.
  • Prepare numerous monthly and annual reports derived from team performance statistics.
  • Perform performance scorecard compliance and accounting.
  • Research and resolve functionally, formatting, and business process issues. Compile statistics reflecting regional financial budget management and reconciliation.
  • Resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support lead generation independent of nationwide programs and prepares related statistical analysis.
  • Utilize a detailed working knowledge of the Planned Giving Director's Performance Scorecard in order to validate compliance with the requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement with assistance of team leads.
  • Prepare illustrations for a large selection of charitable gift plans (Crescendo Interactive) Assemble data reflecting functional allocation results along with various statistical analyses.
  • Transmit a variety of financial documents to other individuals and departments.
  • Coordinate Webcast on topics directed at the professional advisor community.
  • Maintain records according to approved retention schedules.
  • Review and prepare reports reflecting team regional expense data and communicate any exception to the party responsible.
  • Process and code expenses, prepare invoices for payment, and confirm accuracy.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Accumulate, monitor, and track numerous sources of information.
  • Collaborate with other staff to design and implement business content according to system best practices.
  • Create, maintain, and organize training, guidelines, and educational aides for functional support and constituent service.
  • Effectively communicate processes which ensure ease of use of all department resources.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance as needed and offer appropriate action for resolution.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Equivalent to completion of two years of college-level coursework in business or a field related to work and three years of office administration, supervisory, or lead expertise in the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and expertise sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.


COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Must possess use of standard office equipment, possess computer skills and a high level proficiency using required software programs including Salesforce.
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills in person and over the phone. Additionally, this position requires the following skills: Performing technical, specialized, and complex analysis requiring the use of independent judgment.
  • Interpreting and implementing policies, procedures, and computer application related to the region.
  • Analyzing and resolving office administration, systems issues, and procedural problems.
  • Performing detailed research and preparing reports, including recommendations. Overseeing projects or programs as assigned.
  • Organizing own work, coordinating projects, setting priorities meeting deadlines, and follow-up on assignments with minimum direction.
  • Using initiative and independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines. Providing complex office administration support and analysis in the areas of budgeting, report
  • preparation, and staff communication. Communicating effectively with co-workers, superiors, and constituents in a manner sufficient to exchange or convey information.

The starting rate is $24.00 to $26.00. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
