Job description
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Perform and assist in the repair and maintaining equipment – including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry or construction components.
- Perform inspections on all machinery, mechanical systems and plumbing equipment.
- Assist with coordination of relocation, renovation and remodeling of workspace areas while minimizing interruption of company business.
- Maintain proper records of schedule maintenance.
- Assist the Sr. Facilities Manager in overseeing onsite contractors
- Along with Sr. Facilities Manager and coworkers, survey and monitor building and grounds conditions and make suggestions for repair, and improvements.
- Other duties as assigned by Sr. Facilities Manager and senior staff.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
Daily mail pickup, bank deposits and parts and supply pickup.
Occasional work outside scheduled work hours.
Maintain an unrestricted Georgia driver’s license.
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent required.
10+ years large facility maintenance work experience or Technical training in facilities related field and 5+ years large facility maintenance work experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read and write; understand both verbal and written instructions.
Working knowledge and experience in carpentry, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Basic knowledge of Outlook Express and Word.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to perform tasks in a variety of working conditions - heat, cold, small spaces, high spaces, roof, standing for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and hold 75 lbs.
Ability to work on a ladder.
