Job description

What we want to accomplish and why we need you.

Suki is creating a new category in the health-tech space: the digital assistant. Our product will be the voice user interface for healthcare. What does that mean? Currently, doctors use electronic health record systems to take notes on patient encounters. This is a digital version of the paper charts that you may have seen in your doctor’s office or on TV. These systems can be hard to navigate and time-consuming to manage. Doctors would rather spend that time with patients. We are creating the solution. Doctors that use Suki already spend over 70% less time on administrative tasks, and we’re striving to do even better. Come and join us!

We are a user-driven company and are committed to making sure every pixel of our product is in service of the doctor. We’re a team of technologists, clinicians, and industry experts working together to push the limits on technology used in medicine. We’re confident enough to move fast and talented enough not to break things. Check out this short video to learn more about our mission and our culture.

What will you do every day?

As an SDET III with a focus on Mobile testing, you will lead the development of scalable automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. You’ll ensure that the mobile experience is smooth and bug-free, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality standards across our mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms using Appium.
  • Lead end-to-end testing efforts, ensuring comprehensive coverage for mobile-specific features like offline scenarios, push notifications, and gesture-based interactions.
  • Mentor junior SDETs, guiding them in test design, debugging, and test case development.
  • Collaborate with Mobile Engineers and Product Managers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure testability.
  • Analyze test results and suggest improvements to the mobile testing process, focusing on efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform load testing to ensure app stability during peak usage and network simulation testing for real-world conditions.
  • Write test plans for new features and conduct manual exploratory testing for edge cases.
  • Continuously improve test coverage and automation scripts as the app evolves.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile automation testing.
  • Expertise in Appium and mobile testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge in Swift, Kotlin, and Java for mobile test automation.
  • Experience with mobile performance testing tools and network simulators.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into mobile app deployments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile environments

(We don’t necessarily expect to find a candidate that has done everything listed, but you should be able to make a credible case that you’ve done most of it and are ready for the challenge of adding some new things to your resume.)
