Job description

Job Title: Band 6 Community Social Worker
Location: West London NHS Trust
Rate: £29 per hour

Are you a Mental Health Practitioner looking to make an impact within the NHS? We are currently working with West London NHS Trust, which is looking for a range of practitioners to work within integrated community and mental health services. If you are a passionate and driven individual, you will thrive in this supportive environment with managers who care about progressing their staff and gelling the team regardless of you being agency or not. This role is great for someone looking to get into a mental health community role and have a hands-on approach to make a real difference to those most vulnerable in our community.

Responsibilities:
To hold significant knowledge, awareness, and understanding of Mental Health Law, including legislation of particular relevance to the community sector, including the Community Care Act (2015), treatment legislation, the Care Programme Approach (2008), the Mental Capacity Act (2005), and Community Treatment Orders (CTO). To be personally responsible and professionally accountable for a caseload as part of the community team and lead and manage the work of others as required. Co-ordinating care, communicating with other professionals involved in the care, and ensuring regular CPA reviews are held as required.
