Job Summary:

The Salesforce CPQ Specialist is responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting the Salesforce CPQ platform to streamline the quote-to-cash process. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, sales teams, and technical teams to configure pricing, quoting, and contract management solutions that align with organizational objectives. Additionally, the role includes integrating eSignature solutions, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) processes, designing product catalogs, configuring advanced approval workflows, generating customized quote templates, and managing billing packages that support invoice generation, payment processing, consumption schedules, and payment gateway integrations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure & Customize CPQ: Set up Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configuration, pricing, discount rules, and quote templates. Advanced Approvals Package: Design multi-level approval processes for various deal types and pricing models, incorporating different approval workflows based on deal size, product configuration, or special terms.Integration & Automation: Work on Salesforce CPQ integrations with other platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM) to automate and optimize the sales process. Integrate eSignature solutions (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign) with Salesforce CPQ, ensuring that quotes, contracts, and proposals can be electronically signed within the CPQ system. Integrate Salesforce CPQ with payment gateways to automate payment processing.  System Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade Salesforce CPQ configurations to meet the evolving needs of the business.User Training & Support: Provide training and support to end users to ensure efficient use of the Salesforce CPQ platform.Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize the existing CPQ processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and drive faster quote approvals.Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user training materials.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct system testing, troubleshoot errors, and provide ongoing support for new features and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to external systems. 

Certifications:

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification is preferred. Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform Developer Certification is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration, pricing rules, quote templates, custom objects and advanced approvals. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning (optional but highly preferred for developer roles).Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi) and knowledge of APIs and web services.Expertise in integrating eSignature solutions (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign) within CPQ workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) tools and integration with Salesforce.
  • Experience with billing package configurations, invoice generation, and payment gateway integration.

Business Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the quote-to-cash (QTC) process.
  • Ability to work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to understand their needs and improve system functionality

400 - 800 INR (Per Hour)
