Job description

We are recruiting experienced Demi Chef de Partie for prestigious 4* and 5* Hotels in Kos Island, Chalkidiki and Corfu Island in Greece – Accommodation included!

This is seasonal position for the Summer of 2025. Placements are starting on March 2025 until October/November 2025!

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist the Chef de Partie in managing your assigned kitchen section, preparing high-quality dishes that contribute to an outstanding dining experience. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and passion for culinary excellence will support the team in delivering exceptional meals and maintaining the establishment's reputation for quality.

The Process

Our selection process is designed to be seamless and remote, prioritizing your safety and convenience. From the moment you submit your application to your first day at work, we'll provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into your new role


Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes: Execute precise preparation and cooking of ingredients for menu items, including sauces, garnishes, and plating, to meet high presentation standards.
  • Support the Chef de Partie: Collaborate on the organization of your kitchen section, ensuring readiness and efficiency during service.
  • Maintain hygiene standards: Follow strict hygiene protocols by cleaning workstations, equipment, and tools throughout shifts.
  • Assist with inventory management: Check the freshness and quality of ingredients, assist in organizing deliveries, and minimize waste through proper storage practices.
Offer Description
  • Minimum stay: 4 months
  • Working schedule: 6 days a week / 26 days a month / 8h per day

Requirements
  • +1 year of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen environment
  • Training in cooking / gastronomy (a bonus but not mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations
  • English on a B1 level
  • EU citizenship
  • Birth certificate in Greek language
  • European Health Insurance Card
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm in the kitchen and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and resilience in high volume and stressful environments
