As a Regional Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting compensation and benefits programs across the region to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with global strategies. This role serves as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on total rewards, including base salary, incentives, benefits, and recognition programs.
As a Regional Total Rewards Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and implementation of regional compensation and benefits strategies aligned with global total rewards frameworks for several Asia Pacific countries.
- Conducting benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay and benefits practices.
- Administering and supporting annual compensation processes including merit reviews, bonus cycles, and pay-for-performance alignment.
- Collaborating with HR business partners and managers to provide guidance on job evaluations, salary offers, internal equity, and compensation structures.
- Managing regional benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives) ensuring legal compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Partnering with vendors and brokers for benefit renewals, implementation, and employee communications.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with local compensation and benefits legislation and regulations.
- Analyzing trends and metrics related to total rewards to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Contributing to global total rewards projects and represent regional interests and requirements.
- Educating and communicate with employees and managers on compensation and benefits policies and programs.
- Working closely with Onboarding team and also to be involved in direct communication with the stakeholders, as and when required
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits or 7+ years in Human Resources, preferably in a multinational or regional setting.
- Have knowledge of regional labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Have strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, etc.).
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have experience with union negotiations a plus.
- Be Fluent in English.
- Have Ability to influence.
- Able to give High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Have certification such as CCP, GRP, or SHRM is a plus.
