We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and collaborative Director of Amazon Wholesale to lead our brand's sales business on Amazon through the wholesale (1P Vendor Central) model. You will lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and growth of the Amazon channel—managing assortment, pricing, marketing, operations, and retail relationships—while ensuring the brand is presented with integrity, consistency, and excellence across the platform. Reporting to the VP, Sales, you bring knowledge of Amazon's wholesale ecosystem, experience driving profitable growth, all while navigating the complexities of fashion on Amazon.

About the Job

  • Own the P&L for the Amazon account, driving top-line growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

  • Be the main contact for Amazon Retail (vendor managers), leading seasonal planning, negotiations, and business reviews.

Product Assortment & Content

  • Partner with Merchandising and Planning teams to build channel-appropriate assortments based on data, trends, and Amazon demand.

  • Collaborate with Director of Wholesale Ecommerce to ensure product listings are optimized and lead ideal catalog health.

Retail Operations & Supply Chain

  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Planning teams to ensure high in-stock rates, smooth replenishment, and minimal chargebacks.

  • Oversee demand forecasting and inventory planning to meet seasonal sales goals and promotional opportunities.

  • Address operational challenges such as shortages, cancelations, or fulfillment issues in partnership with internal and Amazon teams.

Pricing & Promotions

  • Manage pricing strategy, including MSRP alignment, promotional calendar, deal planning (Coupons, Lightning Deals), and MAP compliance.

  • Monitor competitive pricing and marketplace dynamics to increase profitability while protecting brand equity.

Marketing & Performance Optimization

  • Partner with Amazon Advertising and internal marketing teams to activate retail media campaigns (Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Products, DSP).

  • Analyze weekly and monthly KPIs, providing performance recaps and strategic recommendations to internal leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Ecommerce, Finance, Legal, and Brand teams to ensure understanding of business terms, product messaging, and profitability.

  • Advocate internally for resources and investment in the Amazon channel while educating teams on Amazon's impact and best practices.

About You
  • 15+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales, retail consulting or channel marketing, with several years in a leadership role managing Amazon or digital accounts

  • Experience launching and growing businesses on digital platforms, driving brand-first strategies and expanding into new marketplaces

  • Knowledge of Amazon marketplace and digital trends, retail categories, with experience building data-driven strategies to optimize product performance and customer engagement
