SUMMARY
The Program Manager will serve as a key operational partner to the Sr. Director, Global Construction Operational Excellence, supporting the execution of governance frameworks, systems, and business process improvements across global infrastructure development programs. This role will focus on enabling scalable, efficient, and compliant operations for capital programs, with a strong emphasis on cross-regional alignment and stakeholder engagement.
KEY responsibilities
- Process Optimization & Documentation: Collaborate with regional and functional teams to map, document, and refine end-to-end business processes. Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements aligned with strategic goals.
- Cross-Regional Coordination: Act as a liaison between global and regional teams to ensure consistent application of governance standards and business processes. Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment across geographies.
- Governance Implementation Support: Assist in operationalizing the global governance strategy by coordinating documentation, tracking compliance, and supporting the rollout of governance frameworks across capital programs.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Support the Sr. Director in engaging with engineering, construction, controls, and other cross-functional partners. Prepare materials for executive updates, workshops, and governance reviews.
- Risk & Compliance Monitoring: Track process risks and compliance gaps. Coordinate with internal audit and partner teams to support assessments and follow-up actions.
- Training & Resource Management: Develop and maintain training materials and reference documentation to support stakeholder understanding of governance processes and tools.
- Systems & Tooling Support: Partner with product and systems teams to gather business requirements, support tool development, and assist in implementation planning and user adoption.
KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Proven ability to contribute to performance strategies that drive operational excellence and business outcomes.
- Extended knowledge of data center facilities, infrastructure, best practices, and industry standards
- Extended technical understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, cooling technologies, networking, and security systems relevant to data center construction.
- Effective leadership and team management skills, including experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Extended communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, stakeholder management, and reporting.
- Extended problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex challenges.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Good financial acumen, budgeting skills, and experience managing large construction project budgets.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience gained in a similar role within a global IT services organization.
- Extensive experience in project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Extensive experience managing data center construction projects.
- Extensive experience managing and leading data construction project resources.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Remain stationary for long periods of time.
- Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
- Perform work during US business hours and time zones.
Work conditions & other requirements
- Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection
This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $135,500.00 - $251,600.00.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
