Position Title: Mid to Mid+ React Software Engineer

Location: Remote - Colombia

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Front-End Developer with expertise in React.js and Next.js to join our agile scrum team. You will be part of a dynamic front-end development group dedicated to rebuilding and modernizing consumer and member-facing websites. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and performance of our digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate within a front-end scrum team to develop high-quality, scalable React/Next.js applications.
Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Help rebuild existing web platforms to modern, performant, and accessible front-end solutions.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js in a production environment.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Experience working in agile/scrum teams.
Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.

Desired Skills:

Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., Vercel, AWS).
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
