Job Description

You will be part of our Global Infrastructure Services team. You will report to the Director of Data Strategy. This is a remote position.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Lead global teams in design and architecture discussions with partners, developers, and platform engineers.
  • Architect enterprise-grade, multi-region cloud-native database solutions.
  • Expertise in leading cloud migration efforts, cross-platform database migrations from MS SQL, Oracle to Cloud- native MySQL & PostgreSQL, including re-platforming, and refactoring legacy systems.
  • Manage globally distributed data platforms with high-resilience and enterprise standards, and deploy with Terraform automation and CI/CD integration.
  • Collaborate with teams to align database strategy with our goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee Application planning, architecture, performance tuning, and capacity management.
  • Mentor engineering teams and contribute to enterprise data modeling and governance.
  • Document architecture and processes for all kinds of team members.

Qualifications
  • 15+ years in enterprise database engineering, including 6+ years in cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in cross-platform migrations (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server to AWS RDS MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Deep experience with multi-cloud platforms and tools (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, OCI Autonomous DB).
  • Background in DevOps automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Python).
  • Experience with performance optimization, observability tools, and high-availability design.
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners with experience leading global technical teams.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and data compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
