The Opportunity
The Insights & Reporting Analyst will be responsible to support and deliver all aspects of data, reporting, and analytics. Incumbent will develop, update, and standardize reporting and data, perform analysis, identify reporting trends, and data quality issues. Researches and assists in resolutions and reconciles information with financial results where appropriate. Investigates data anomalies and segment reporting issues to ensure accurate and timely distribution of reports. Tests, documents, and reviews completed reports to ensure accurate Data and Analytics standards and procedures are met. Incumbent will support identification of key performance metrics, building dashboards, and ensuring that improvements to the business are driven by data; support centralized survey creation, distribution, and analysis.
The Opportunity
Work with users, leaders and subject matter experts to understand the current and future data analysis goals and architect solutions to meet those goals.
Ensure all assigned required reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Develops and deploys effective reporting to reconcile operational and financial data from several sources to acquire and report results and adhere to reporting requirements.
For ad-hoc reports, design and save queries to produce requested data using approved technology.
Identifies and investigates issues related to projects. Recommends alternatives which include system identification, remediation of issues, and documentation of analysis and resolution.
Prepares, analyzes, and reviews data quality and accuracy of reports.
Participates in the development of presentations, report layouts, definitions and documentation.
Plan, design, and test Fraud reports.
Investigate, identify, and propose prompt actionable solutions to resolve issues identified in any reporting processes.
Build and analyze models using various statistical tools for forecasting and optimization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Minimum Two (2) years of experience in SQL development or MIS reporting and analysis required.
Two (2) years of experience in the creation, design and modifications of macros, queries and tables and working with all varieties of flat files required.
Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI preferred.
