Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented EV Permitting Technician to support our Electric Vehicle Charging Installation Manager and field teams in securing permits for EV charger installation projects. This is a remote, part-time role requiring 20–30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize pre-developed plan sets and complete permit applications for EV charger installation projects.
Submit permit applications to the appropriate jurisdictions and follow through to obtain approvals.
Coordinate with the installation team, permitting authorities, and homeowners to schedule required inspections.
Assist in preparing and organizing project close-out documentation.
Keep internal project management systems up to date with permitting and inspection status.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with permitting processes, preferably in construction, electrical, or EV infrastructure.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with basic office tools and cloud-based systems.
Familiarity with EV charger installations or related technical knowledge is a plus.
Work Hours:
Part-Time – 20 to 30 hours per week
