Job description

Who we are:

First impressions matter. Kicksaw is on a mission to transform the Salesforce consulting industry, putting employees and customers first. As a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, we help companies manage their implementation processes, drive greater efficiencies, and create unmatched client relationships.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect – Health Cloud to join our Delivery team. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you’ll lead complex Health Cloud engagements, ensuring solutions align with client business objectives and regulatory requirements. This is a US-based, fully remote role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll be both a hands-on architect and a strategic advisor—mentoring teammates, influencing project success, and shaping scalable solutions that deliver measurable value to our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Health Cloud architecture design and delivery for regulated US healthcare clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, clarifying success metrics and aligning solutions to business value.
  • Drive client roadmaps comfortably, articulating scaling limits and proposing/implementing creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Lead internal conversations about major architecture decisions, driving team-wide consensus on direction and adoption.
  • Design and oversee complex data migration strategies including legacy system extraction, transformation logic, and large-scale data loads for Health Cloud implementations.
  • Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions that incorporate multiple systems, custom development, and advanced automation to meet nuanced healthcare workflows and scalability requirements.
  • Act as a multiplier by building systems, authorizing tools, or introducing policies that raise org-wide productivity.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to mature organizational capabilities.
  • Create user stories based on functional discovery sessions to support solution design.
  • Identify growth opportunities for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Seek external mentors and expertise to continue developing strategic thinking, communication, and leadership style.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to organizational leadership, influencing both client and company outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7–10 years Salesforce architecture experience, with 3+ years focused on Health Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA and US healthcare regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead complex solution architecture engagements across the SFDC platform.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve high-complexity technical issues.
  • Experience working cross-departmentally to find solutions to integration and scaling challenges.
  • Hands-on experience leading data migration efforts, including complex data modeling, transformation logic, and reconciliation in Salesforce environments.
  • Proven ability to define and implement integration strategies across disparate systems, mapping data flows between Salesforce and external platforms (e.g., EHRs, patient engagement tools, billing systems).
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-cloud and hybrid architecture, with a strong grasp of managing system dependencies, performance tradeoffs, and governance in highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to mentor peers, drive improvements, and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect certification required
  • US-based with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.

This position includes an annual base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 USD. Final compensation offers are based on level of experience, skillset, certifications, and education.
