Job description

If you have a passion for design and the ability to turn a creative vision into a stunning visual reality, then you could be the perfect addition to our expanding marketing team.


We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who is looking for a new challenge and loves nothing more than creating marketing materials that do more than please the eye.


You will be comfortable working across multiple disciplines in a fastmoving environment and be adaptable to turning your hand to a widerange of design tasks.


That could mean creating a coordinated social media campaign during a morning to designing impactful tender slides and interactive flipbooks during an afternoon.


Our marketing team is our own inhouse agency, creating printed and online collateral, electronic and direct mail campaigns as well as providing fullservice marketing support.


And most importantly, you’ll be part of an enthusiastic team who loves transforming ideas into materials that tell Commercial’s everevolving story in a fresh, exciting and engaging way.


Your responsibilities as a Graphic Designer will be:


  • Design promotional material; posters, leaflets, adverts, signage, campaign collateral etc
  • Create content for use on digital platforms; websites, social ads, promotional screens etc.
  • Produce interpretation material; exhibition panels, publications, PowerPoint presentations, campaign eBooks, etc
  • Amend existing designs to deliver a coherent look to all creative collateral
  • Review and contribute to new branding guidelines
  • Be a key player within a fastpaced marketing team, contributing to the overall strategy
  • Assist with other marketing duties such as social media scheduling, website building and updates, photography, photo manipulation.
  • Discuss the requirements of projects (briefs) with the project owner, stakeholders, and the marketing team
  • Provide costs for the projects.
  • Help to choose the most suitable materials and styles for projects
  • Produce mockups or computer visuals to show stakeholders to help obtain approval of concept
  • Produce final layouts with exact specifications for typefaces, bleed, letter size and colours ready for production
  • Support in organising events and facilitate their success
  • Be creative in the creation of campaigns
  • Support and mentor the Junior Graphic Designer

      • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Cloud
      • Creative and have strong graphic design skills with a good eye for layouts
      • Able to think conceptually and contribute to the process of creative development
      • Confident enough to take the initiative and get on with jobs without a lot of supervision
      • Confident in using your analytical skills and able to find practical solutions to problems
      • Ability to multitask and flexible to meet the needs of the business
      • Capable of working to both budget and deadline
      • Known for your attention to detail, time management and good communication skills
      • A qualification in graphic design is desirable but not essential
