We are looking for a Network Engineer.
Your Key Responsibilities
Network Implementation:
- Perform greenfield and brownfield network deployments.
- Configure and install a variety of network devices and services.
- Configure and support network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG).
Network Maintenance:
- Perform regular network monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Open and manage service requests with vendors and service providers.
- Maintain up-to-date network inventory.
- Automate routine operations to improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring problems.
- Provide on-call support for critical network emergencies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration of systems and network components.
- Engage with vendors to evaluate new products, technologies, and solutions aligned with business needs.
On-call Support:
- Respond within 15 minutes to on-call alerts, assess the situation, and take necessary steps to minimize business impact.
What We Expect From You
- Experience: 5+ years as a Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent level of expertise.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, data center networking, and network architecture.
Hard Skills:
- Cisco Equipment: Hands-on experience with Catalyst, Nexus, and Firepower series.
- Networking Protocols: VXLAN EVPN, Firepower/ASA, BGP, OSPF, MSTP/RSTP, GRE, L2TP, IPSEC, LACP, vPC.
- Operating Systems: Networking in Linux, Hyper-V, VMware environments.
- Automation: Python, Ansible (network process automation).
- Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, GCP integration with on-prem networks.
- Monitoring: Zabbix (templates, maps, triggers), Grafana, PRTG, NetBox.
- Troubleshooting Tools: iPerf, tcpdump, Wireshark, mtr, traceroute, nmap.
Soft Skills
- English at least B1 level.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
