Position purpose: This Sr. Actuarial Analyst position will be supporting Centene's Coordinated Care health plan in Washington State. Assist with modeling of value-based contracts / provider rate change proposals, regulatory reporting, and perform other analyses as needed. Assist in financial analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate outcomes.

In this Sr. Actuarial Analyst role, you will:

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes
  • Assist with developing processes and reports based on analysis of financial/statistical data and other pertinent information
  • Analyze and evaluate  premium rates and associated expenses
  • Develop and analyze various reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Highly preferred:

  • Experience with contract modeling and value-based contract models (e.g., provider incentive models).
  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query).
  • Clear communication and presentation skills to convey complex insights effectively.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
