Job Description: 

TracxTMS is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to guide the development of our innovative logistics and trucking software solutions. This pivotal role is central to our product development process, ensuring the delivery of high-value features that meet the needs of our customers and align with our strategic goals.

The Product Owner will be a key liaison, responsible for fostering seamless communication and collaboration between our business stakeholders and the development team. Reporting directly to the Director of R&D, this individual will have the unique opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team, including a Scrum Master and a Product Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum methodologies and a proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable development tasks. The Product Support Specialist, under the Product Owner's guidance, will manage all incoming support tickets, including triage and bug reporting, ensuring a clear and efficient workflow for the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and clearly articulate the product vision and roadmap.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and communication bridge between business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead and manage a team consisting of a Scrum Master and a Product Support Specialist.
  • Collaborate with the Product Support Specialist to ensure efficient handling of all support tickets, triage, and bug reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Product Owner within a Scrum framework is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and documentation skills are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in the logistics and trucking industry is a significant plus.
