Job Summary:
Independence Pet Group (IPG) is seeking a Relationship Manager oversees a portfolio of assigned employee benefits groups working with HR professionals and Benefits Brokers to drive employee enrollment into the voluntary benefit plan and ensure retention at renewal.
Main Responsibilities:
Works with internal partners to ensure a successful launch of the pet insurance benefit amongst various organizations.
Acts as a real-time post-sale consultative partner to clients and ensures a positive experience by maximizing value and benefit for product and/or service offerings.
Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Develops trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and internal business units.
Develops new business with existing clients and/or identifies areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Serves as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
Assists in product recommendations, client onboarding, new-client implementations, and training to ensure client experience is seamless and consistent.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: 3 years’ relationship management, account management, or related experience
Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Licenses/Certifications: Must have and maintain Property & Casualty License or must obtain within 45 days of hire
Accountability/Complexity:
Applies knowledge and basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
