What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for direct support to the senior Investment Banking client coverage team in Latin America for various sectors and across all IB products, M&A, ECM, DCM, and Markets (Financing and derivatives).
  • Play an active role in the origination and execution of transactions as it relates to creating marketing material, preparing information for all internal approvals, preparation of information memorandum, modelling, analysis of companies and sectors, preparing management presentations among others
  • Apply financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods and principles to evaluate M&A transactions, financings, and equity raising transactions
  • Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models
  • Prepare material for senior bankers to utilize during client interactions and discussions to senior management
  • Maintain ongoing communication within senior and more junior members of deal teams
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to analysts and interns on deal teams to help develop their learning of Investment Banking and Deutsche Bank:
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to cross-sell other products offered by the bank
  • Comply with all risk guidelines and conduct guidelines of the bank to foster culture and ethics within DB and with regulators

How You’ll Lead

  • Experience in working with senior level management maintaining confidentiality
  • Leadership skills with the capacity to take initiative as well as assume responsibility
  • Create a positive, effective work environment conducive to open communications, taking initiatives, and collaborative problem-solving team culture

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience as an Investment Banker
  • Experience with working in deal teams across Latin America
  • Performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies
  • Performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches
  • Robust knowledge of all investment banking products

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Spanish language proficiency
