As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Safeguard Global, you’ll play a key role throughout the entire software development lifecycle — with a strong focus on ensuring quality at every step. From translating business requirements into test scenarios to building automation frameworks and responding to system failures, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, reliable software.

How you will make a difference:  

• Design and implement innovative automated testing strategies and tools, helping to shape the way we approach quality assurance 
• Embed quality at every stage of the development process, from requirements to release
• Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that elevate our QA capabilities
• Drive the consistent delivery of high-quality software through smart, scalable test practices
• Explore and implement cutting-edge tools and technologies to boost automation and efficiency
• Mentor and support teammates, sharing your automation expertise to help everyone level up
• Be a proactive problem-solver, raising issues early and delivering innovative solutions
• Keep testing efforts transparent and traceable with clear, detailed documentation
• Provide regular, actionable feedback on test progress and quality metrics to your team lead
• Track and communicate software quality through meaningful KPIs and reporting
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, business users, and leadership to ensure shared success
• Develop deep expertise in key testing areas, including: Automated regression testing, System and integration testing (including APIs), Performance and scalability testing, Security and penetration testing

What will make you stand out:   

• You bring proven hands-on experience in QA automation or tooling — and you thrive on making things better, faster, and smarter
• You know the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) inside out, especially how automated QA fits into fast-paced Agile environments
• You're a strong communicator who collaborates with developers and QA teammates to solve problems before they become blockers
• You’ve built and managed automated test suites using tools like BrowserStack, Cucumber, TestCafe, Selenium, TestRail, or Gridlastic
• You're comfortable coding in JavaScript and testing REST APIs like a pro
• You work seamlessly with Git and other version control systems
• You know your way around bug tracking and test management tools — and how they support clean, efficient dev processes
• You understand and apply testing fundamentals like TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
• You’ve worked with relational databases such as SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL
• You have some experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, or even Expect scripting for automation
• You’ve helped build test infrastructures using Docker, and you're no stranger to CI/CD pipelines
• You’ve tested enterprise-level applications on AWS and understand how quality fits into a cloud-first world
• You’re familiar with enterprise app development in Java, .NET, JavaScript, or similar languages
• You have a working knowledge of NoSQL technologies like MongoDB or DynamoDB
• And if you're CTFL, ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTE certified — that's a huge plus!
