Title: Manager, Content Configuration
Job Summary: The Content Engineer II configures content solutions for P&C core systems processing from moderate to high complexity Agile stories independently and across multiple domains. Reads and interprets rules and requirements from standard organizations and converts them into configuration requirements.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Configures content solutions for high complexity Agile stories and works independently with minimal guidance.
Reads and interprets high complexity rules and requirements from standards organizations like ISO, NCCI, AAIS, etc., converting these into configuration requirements.
Coordinates with user interaction designers and product leadership to create strong user-centered experiences in configured software solutions.
Debugs and resolves high complexity configuration bugs or issues independently making sure to find the real root cause and provides a fix without collateral damage.
Writes automated unit and integration-level tests independently.
May create or assist in the creation of a conceptual design/architecture for small scale content solutions with guidance from an architect or more senior content engineers.
Follows development standards and effectively demonstrate content solutions to other developers in code reviews. Performs code reviews on complex upgrades.
Performs basic source code management tasks independently
Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science; or higher education level, or its foreign equivalent, preferred in Mathematics, Computer Information Sciences or Business;
Total Work Experience: 10 years minimum, 15+ years (software development) preferred
Product Experience: 8 years minimum, 10+ years preferred
Domain Experience: 8 years minimum, 10+ years preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
Expert in:
XML Document Design
Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance Lines of Business (Commercial Auto, General Liability, etc.)
Expert in at least 2 Lines of Business
Use Analytical thinking to breakdown and work through situations or problems

Writing high-performance code
Insurance Domain Knowledge
Utilize Content Development Standards & Best Practices
Technical Writing skills
Ability to estimate coding efforts
Source Code Management
Knowledge of Relational Database Designs
