Job description

About CDI

The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) is a nonprofit dedicated to equipping the next generation of Americans with the skills to communicate and collaborate across lines of difference. We work with U.S. colleges and universities by providing curricular programming for students, professional development for faculty and staff, and strategic guidance to leadership. Our goal is to foster constructive dialogue at every level of the institution and to create the conditions for lasting organizational change. CDI was cofounded by psychologist Jonathan Haidt, the bestselling author of The Righteous Mind and The Anxious Generation.

About the Role

The Program Manager will report to the Director of Program Implementation, and work closely with the Growth team to support the successful implementation of CDI’s tools and resources on college campuses across the country. This position will focus on project management, data tracking, and platform support related to our implementation of programs on college campuses. The Program Manager will need to work crossfunctionally to support partner requests and challenges, and to ensure data and systems are aligned from Implementation through the whole organization. This person will at times serve as a direct contact for partners, at the direction of the AssociateDirector of Program Implementation. Beyond CDI’s higher ed programming, the Program Manager will also collaborate with the larger Growth team on project management and data tracking related to implementation within other sectors (high school, public service, corporate).

Responsibilities
Implementation Support
  • Support Director and Associate Director(s) of Program Implementation on implementation processes, including but not limited to program setup, roster uploads, contracting and renewals, email follow up, and relationship management. This work will include organizing and developing templates, tracking anomalies, and maintaining proper records.

  • Work closely with the Product team to support partner requests and challenges.

  • Build and manage project management tools for Implementation and other Growth initiatives in Hubspot, Asana, Google Drive, and other platforms, ensuring successful execution as the organization grows and scales.

  • Coordinate internal tasks across multiple team members and departments, fostering collaboration, alignment, and shared understanding of processes, projects, and objectives.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and areas for optimization in partnership management and implementation procedures.

  • Support the Growth team on administrative and support tasks as needed.

    • Data Management and Analysis
      • Update and maintain data in Hubspot, related to Implementation and Partnerships, in collaboration with the other Program Manager on the Implementation team. Aid in progress tracking, monitoring performance against OKRs and other metrics.

      • Generate regular reports on partnership performance, implementation progress, and key metrics, communicating updates, challenges, and successes to internal stakeholders. This position will have a focus on tracking and reporting for bugs within our platform, working with the Product team at CDI to capture status updates and work towards resolutions in layman’s terms.

      • Occasionally, support the Growth team in analyzing data patterns, in Hubspot and elsewhere, such as identifying success rates at various stages of the pipeline for each sector.

        • CrossFunctional Collaboration
          • Collaborate closely with Growth team members and Education, Research, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless alignment of goals and effective execution of CDI programming.

          • Foster open communication and coordination to enhance crossfunctional collaboration.
