The Role: Raise the Quality Bar.

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to embed testing excellence into the heart of our development team. You’ll work closely with developers to define what quality looks like, coach on best practices, and build a solid foundation for both manual and automated testing. This is a collaborative, handson role for someone who’s excited to build things the right way, from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Establish and maintain QA best practices tailored to Traild’s systems and development environment.

• Set up testing systems and tooling that integrate with our CICD, .NET, and Angular stack, aligning with current team workflows.

• Partner with developers to embed testing into the development lifecycle, including test case planning, implementation, and code quality standards.

• Build and maintain test suites for APIs, UIs, and core workflows.

• Define and manage regression testing, performance validation, and production signoff.

• Lead the expansion of test automation frameworks and tooling across backend and frontend codebases.

• Support the CICD pipeline with testing strategy and coverage (GitHub Actions, Terraform, GCP).

• Provide clear and actionable feedback on bugs, risks, and improvements during sprints.
