ActioNet has an immediate need for an Network Administrator supporting a federal program. This position is 95% telework reporting at the following locations:

The Network Administrator requires a Public Trust clearance.We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator with direct experience in Cisco IronPort administration, network operations, and ideally Microsoft 365 (M365) administration.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing secure email gateways, maintaining network infrastructure, and supporting enterprise messaging and cybersecurity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor Cisco IronPort Secure Email Gateway appliances to ensure secure and efficient email flow.
- Develop, implement, and enforce email security policies to mitigate spam, viruses, and malware threats.
- Provide message tracking and reporting support for Cybersecurity and Enterprise Messaging teams.
- Perform core network administration tasks including user account management, DHCP, patch management, and routine backups.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation and contribute to team training and knowledge sharing.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user provisioning, mailbox management, and integration with email security systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree."
- Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in network administration.
- Proven expertise in Cisco IronPort Secure Email Gateway administration.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11, ServiceNow, AsyncOS, and Arcserve Backup.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with federal agencies, particularly the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and integration with email security platforms.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to train and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
