Position: Commercial Property Desk Adjuster

Are you an experienced property adjuster with a knack for analyzing complex commercial claims? We're seeking a Commercial Property Desk Adjuster to manage a wide range of property losses—accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service.

Your Role:
As a Commercial Property Desk Adjuster, you’ll be responsible for handling mid-to-large commercial property claims from first notice of loss through resolution—all from a desk-based environment. You'll evaluate damages, determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and guide policyholders through the process with professionalism and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and adjust commercial property claims remotely
Review policy coverage, loss reports, estimates, photos, and supporting documents
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and field adjusters as needed
Communicate regularly with insureds, brokers, and internal teams
Ensure file accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution
Maintain detailed documentation and support in litigation prep if required

Requirements:

3–5+ years of experience handling commercial property claims
Strong knowledge of commercial property policies and construction basics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills
Proficiency with claims management systems (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility, Guidewire)
Active adjuster license(s) as required by jurisdiction
Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines independently
