Your Role: 
As one of our Product Owners/Managers, you’ll own the problem space for one (or more) squads—translating strategy into an actionable roadmap, maintaining a value-driven backlog, and serving as the go-to person for product priorities. You’ll operate at the intersection of user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals, ensuring we're building the right things, at the right time, in the right way.

This role requires a blend of traditional product management expertise and specialized skills in product development, including the ability to navigate iterative development cycles, manage high levels of ambiguity, and build with data at the core.

 
What You’ll Be Doing:

Vision & Strategy

• Partner with the Head of Product to co-create OKRs and maintain a clear product vision aligned with company and AI-focussed strategy.

• Continuously evaluate how evolving AI technologies influence previously unthinkable product direction and customer impact.

Roadmap Ownership

• Build and maintain a NOW/NEXT/LATER roadmap focused on outcomes, not just outputs.

• Make strategic trade-offs and communicate decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

Backlog Management

• Prioritize backlog items by value, effort, and risk, today and in the light of growing capabilities of foundational models.

Stakeholder Alignment

• Lead demos, backlog grooming, and release planning sessions.

• Act as the conduit between engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and support.

Customer & Data Insight

• Conduct user discovery through usage analytics, thorough A/B testing, and feature flagging.

• Validate problem–solution fit and based on your customer understanding and hypothesis, while using data to update and correct your assumptions on each iteration.

AI-Specific Product Development

• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and data scientists to manage the AI product lifecycle—data collection, context engineering, deployment, and monitoring.

• Embrace rapid iteration cycles and define tactics to deal with steeply increasing model performance.

Outcome Tracking

• Define and monitor success metrics for your domain of responsibility. Be they short term to monitor the day-to-day performance and reliability of your service, or longer term to measure your ultimate progress towards top level KPIs

• Ensure continuous improvement based on quantitative insights.

Delivery Enablement

• Make scope trade-offs to unblock teams and deliver incrementally.

• Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done and are accompanied by release notes and documentation.

What You’ll Need:

• Min. 5+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a commercial software development agile environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing AI or data-intensive products.

• Some understanding of the AI engineering tech stack—from context engineering to continuous evals.

• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and standard agile practices in SWD.

• Proven ability to turn qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.

• Experience using analytics and A/B testing tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Optimizely).

• Strong user story writing and backlog management skills

• Technical fluency—able to engage in conversations about APIs, FE, BE, model selection, and trade-offs.

• Comfort managing ambiguity and navigating fast-evolving technical landscapes.

• A solid toolbox of personal AI powered applications or models to support you in your daily work as a product creator

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in HR Tech or marketplace platforms.

• Familiarity with OKR frameworks and outcome-based product planning.

• Ability to build low fidelity prototypes or use tools like Figma, Streamlit, or Colab to test ideas quickly.

• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation and guardrail implementation.
