About the role 

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Paxos connects with external partners, networks, and client platforms. Working alongside a talented group of engineers, you’ll architect and maintain high-impact integrations that power seamless and secure data and transaction flows across multiple blockchains and partner systems.

What you’ll do 

• Design, build, and maintain integration solutions connecting Paxos products—such as USDG and other digital assets—to client and partner platforms.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines that enable secure, reliable transactions and information flow across multiple blockchains and third-party systems.
• Automate onboarding flows and data synchronization processes to streamline complex, multi-chain integrations at an enterprise scale.
• Enhance system monitoring and reporting capabilities, ensuring clients have clear, actionable insights into integration health, activity, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver integration projects that meet client needs and uphold Paxos’ standards for security and reliability.
• Architect resilient solutions that handle high transaction volumes, support system scalability, and minimize latency.
• Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual processes, drive end-to-end automation, and continually improve the reliability and maintainability of all integrated systems.

About you

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems
• Strong track record of delivering solutions with high throughput and low latency requirements
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work
• Proven ability to design and implement complex financial or billing systems
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization
• Background in fintech, blockchain, or financial services is a plus
• Track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives
