The IT Support & Cybersecurity Officer will support key activities in the IT Department and report to the Head of Technology. The primary focus will be to lead on the IT Support functions in collaboration with 3rd parties. Defining and implementing the cybersecurity strategy for the company will also be a key part of the role. Managing the business continuity policies and measures, including critical data backups, will also be required.

EIT Urban Mobility is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support and Cybersecurity Officer to manage and our digital workplace in collaboration with external partners. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all IT-workplace related activities, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune. Additionally, the IT Officer will oversee the daily activity and support provided by a third party and make sure that the service offered to EIT UM employees is satisfactory. All support activity will be monitored in a ticketing tool platform that is currently being used in the company.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities include:



  • IT Support: supervise the technical support to office staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems.

  • Cybersecurity: lead on all required cybersecurity measures and best practices to ensure business continuity

  • Security governance: Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from cyber threats.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for IT services, support, and procurement.

  • Intune Management: Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for device management, ensuring secure and efficient operation of all company devices.

  • Network Management: monitor office network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.

  • Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of office IT equipment, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.

  • Software Management: maintain a SW catalogue, review, configure, and update software applications via MS Company Portal. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures. Create and update technical documentation as needed.

  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices

    Must-have:

     


    • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science Engineering (or similar)

    • 2 years of professional experience
    • Excellent written and spoken English (C1). 

    • Strong knowledge of MS Azure, MS Intune, MS AD and other relevant technologies

    • Strong IT/technical knowledge: video recording, video editing, video publishing and tagging, e-learning content/module management, customer data-base management, etc;

    • Motivation to work in fast-moving, innovative, and sometimes ambiguous environments;

    • Team player who can work independently;

    • Organized and structured, pro-active and hands-on;

    • A positive and ‘can-do’ mindset.

       

      Nice-to-have:

       

      • Technical certifications in the field of IT systems’ management, cybersecurity or similar
      • One or more additional European languages

      Kindly note that this is a permanent and full-time position, and it is based in Barcelona.


      Possibility to work from home 2 days a week.
