Stora Enso is on an ambitious growth journey in France. We’re looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to act as both a market maker and a strategic client partner, accelerating the adoption of our mass timber solutions across the French construction sector.

With your strong knowledge of the timber construction market and its key players, you will identify and seize new opportunities, drive high-impact sales, and strengthen long-term client relationships. You'll engage with both buyers and influencers — from developers and contractors to architects, engineers, and investors — to promote the value of our Sylva™ by Stora Enso product portfolio (CLT, LVL, Rib panels, ...).

You’ll ensure our sales pipeline is always healthy and forward-looking, while actively managing key accounts to close deals and secure successful project execution.

Your Mission

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will lead our commercial development in the French market with a specific focus on Paris and the Eastern regions of France. From pipeline creation to deal closing and account growth, your role combines strong sales drive, client expertise, and deep market understanding to position Stora Enso as the preferred partner for sustainable timber construction.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing early-stage input on project feasibility and promoting the benefits of timber construction across technical, economic, and environmental dimensions.
  • Expand Stora Enso’s brand presence in the French market by contributing to high-visibility projects, events, publications, and stakeholder engagement
  • Feed market intelligence (trends, regulations, industry developments) to internal teams for continuous product innovation and go-to-market refinement
  • Work cross-functionally with internal engineering, design, operations, and marketing to deliver seamless project execution and exceptional client experience
  • Champion digital tools and CRM discipline to ensure accurate forecasting, project tracking, and strategic reporting

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in mass timber design, estimating, or construction management, ideally within engineered wood or prefab sectors
  • Strong background in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development within the building and construction industry

  • Skilled at identifying customer needs and challenges and bringing solutions and commercial offers
  • Exceptional customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding public speaking, presentation, and communication abilities to effectively engage diverse stakeholders
  • A confident negotiator with a track record of successfully closing deals
  • Highly structured and self-organized, able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • A true team player with a collaborative spirit and willingness to support colleagues
  • Comfortable with frequent travel within your territory
  • Proficient with IT tools including Microsoft Office suite and CRM system
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
