Job description

Job Purpose:

This is a partner success focused role within the Cisco Security European Specialist Business Center (SBC) supporting our European business to educate and enable our partners. Working internally with our European sales teams across multiple countries and externally with our partners, engaging the partner community on their education and training needs in relation to Cisco Security. In this role you will oversee the creation of learning environments where colleagues and partners can continuously develop to be their best. You will coordinate aspects of the vendor’s learning programs including: new partner recruitment, partner program requirements, provide support to countries on the authorization and certification process, consolidate partner training and enablement content, connect partners with learning content, as well as monitoring partner success and overall programs effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the SBC you will be responsible for content coordination and building programmes to help our internal teams and external partners have a greater level of knowledge and competency in Cisco Security.
  • Become the subject matter expert for Cisco Security partner programs including complete understanding of program benefits, partner certification requirements and align to the relevant training programmes.
  • Become the subject matter expert in understand Cisco Security training content and the delivery of education & training programmes (Black Belt, ATC, etc).
  • Collaborate and align with SBC colleagues and Cisco to understand the education and training needs of our internal TD SYNNEX colleagues and external partners.
  • Clearly map out available education & training programmes (IDEAS sessions, PIW sessions, Blackbelt training, etc). Develop an ongoing calendar of education & training content (digital, virtual, classroom, etc).
  • Plan and develop new partner education journeys.
  • Development and rollout of a new onboarding programme for TD SYNNEX new starters and partners.
  • Carry out internal capability assessments of the Cisco & Security teams to understand competency levels and determine future training requirements.
  • Working with the SBC, set education and training goals (i.e. colleagues trained/certified, partners trained/certified, etc).
  • Enhance visibility of available education and training content and drive program awareness.
  • Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to colleagues and partners.
  • Gain knowledge in Channel Academy (TD SYNNEX’s Learning Management System) and its use as an education vehicle.
  • Leveraging existing Cisco & TD SYNNEX assets and developing new assets where needed unique to TD SYNNEX.
  • Stay at the forefront of the latest Cisco Security developments and leverage this knowledge to formulate future training strategies.

  • Ideally 3+ years in customer or education success management.

  • Security industry knowledge (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a focus on partner success.
  • Proactive, self directed and results orientated.
  • Competent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation are required.
  • High competency in English language.
  • Strong attention to detail with good planning skills and priority management.

Working Conditions:
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
