Chris Guill is the Owner of Scale Lean, a consulting company that helps e-commerce and AI-driven businesses grow and streamline operations. In addition to consulting, Chris runs several e-commerce brands including Clinical Effects, a health and beauty company, and K9MAXX, a dog product line. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments and can help bring order and follow-through to a dynamic, big-picture leader. You must be aligned with our core values:

As our Assistant, you will play a key role in managing communications, keeping projects on track, and supporting the development of systems and content that drive business success. You'll help shape how things are done by creating routines, organizing systems, and keeping priorities on track.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing email, calendar, and Slack communication
  • Preparing client proposals and weekly updates
  • Compiling and updating internal processes and playbooks
  • Helping ensure project completion and following up on open items
  • Managing and scheduling social media content
  • Keeping the client focused and organized across daily priorities
  • Attending or reviewing meeting recordings and taking follow-up actions
  • Supporting project coordination through Asana
  • Meeting briefly with the client most days to align on tasks and priorities
  • Taking initiative and executing tasks independently

In this role, you'll be stepping into a brand-new position where your attention to detail and follow-through will bring much-needed structure to a fast-moving business. This is a key support role that will directly impact the company's ability to grow and stay focused.

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

  • Extremely detail-oriented and naturally inclined to close loops
  • Friendly and professional, with strong interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without needing reminders
  • Comfortable working independently while staying aligned on priorities
  • Assertive yet respectful, with good judgment and the confidence to ask questions
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong time and task management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using and learning AI tools and other technologies to improve workflows
  • Skilled at bringing structure and follow-through to fast-moving, idea-driven environments
  • Familiarity with agency-style work is a plus
  • Tech-savvy and quick to pick up new tools and software

Experience with the following tools is a plus!

  • Google Workspace
  • Slack
  • Asana

Position Details

  • This is a W2 position
  • Benefits include PTO, sick time, paid holidays, and 401(k)
  • The position will be 30 - 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, flexible hours between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm MT
  • The pay rate is $30/hr. USD
  • You must be able to pass a background check
  • We're looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member
