Job description

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team and focus on driving new business growth across EVORA’s key service lines. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and driving the sales process from lead generation through to closing. You will work closely with the wider team to align business development efforts with our strategic goals and enhance EVORA’s growth across the European market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Business Development:

Identify and target new business opportunities within the sustainability, real estate, and financial services sectors.

Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding EVORA’s market presence across Europe.

Sales Process Management:

Own the endtoend sales process, from prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring that potential opportunities are consistently moved through the sales stages.

Relationship Building & Networking:

Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decisionmakers, and influencers within prospective client organisations.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client needs are understood and addressed effectively.

Collaboration with Marketing & Delivery Teams:

Work alongside marketing to develop tailored campaigns that resonate with target clients.

Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to successful project execution.

Achieve Sales Targets:

Meet and exceed sales revenue targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall growth and success of EVORA.

Monitor and report on the performance of sales activities and outcomes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

      Skills & Experience Required

      Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).

      French or Italian language skills are highly desirable.

      Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within sustainability, real estate, financial services, or related industries.

      Strong networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decisionmakers.

      Experience in sales pipeline management and a deep understanding of the sales lifecycle.

      A resultsdriven attitude, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

      Knowledge of consulting, managed services, and software platforms is a plus.
