Job description

Our client is a leading technology services company based in Dublin city centre. There is much change in their business as it moves to embrace the benefits of Lean-Agile development, automated testing, and continuous deployments within a DevOps culture. Currently, our client is in fast growth mode, expanding technical teams, and offering a range of new and exciting projects.


The position of Puppet Deployment Engineer will involve working with a variety of clients throughout Europe both on site and by working remotely from Dublin.


You must have strong LINUX or UNIX systems administration type experience. You will have proven programming ability with proven knowledge of Ruby, Python, Perl or similar. Configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible are necessary. Automation skills are a must. Overall you must be interested in working with Puppet and have a strong appreciation for DevOps culture.


Regarding soft skills, you must have good client facing and client communication skills.The ability to manage your own work and projects. An interest in working with leading technology clients based in Europe. This role will involve travelling to client sites within the EU. Finally, you will have an IT related university degree.
