This is a remote position.

Role Name: Social Media Specialist & Creative Virtual Assistant

Schedule:

20 hours per week Monday to Friday between 9AM to 5PM Mountain Standard Time,

US business hours MST

Client Timezone: Mountain Time (Denver, Colorado)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly creative, techsavvy, and organized Creative Virtual Assistant with a strong background in graphic design, video editing, and photo editing to support our growing brand. This is not your average VA role—we’re looking for someone who can bring ideas to life visually and help us elevate our content across platforms. From designing beautiful graphics to editing shortform videos and polishing photography, you’ll play a key role in how our brand shows up online.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design onbrand graphics for social media, email marketing, presentations, and promotional materials (using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)

● Edit shortform videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)

● Edit and retouch photos for social media, websites, and client deliverables

● Organize and maintain visual asset libraries (Google Drive, Dropbox, Lightroom, etc.)

● Upload and schedule content to platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or Pinterest

● Support creative direction and execution for upcoming launches, events, and campaigns

● Help repurpose longform content (e.g., podcasts or workshops) into engaging visual pieces

● Provide administrative assistance

Requirements

Preferred Skills and Tools:

● Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro

● Strong understanding of social media trends and what makes content visually engaging

● Basic animation or motion graphic skills are a plus

● Excellent eye for design, color, layout, and brand consistency

● Organized with strong file management skills and attention to detail

● Ability to work independently and take initiative on creative projects

Bonus Skills:

● Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Notion, Trello)

● Familiarity with Instagram SEO, captions, and hashtags

● Knowledge of email design tools like Flodesk, Mailchimp, or ConvertKit
