CAD Operator Point Cloud Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Convert point cloud data into 2D CAD drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections)
  

• Trace lines from point cloud slices within CAD software
  

• Work with data captured from 60meter range laser scanners
  

• Follow workflows to extract accurate 2D representations from 3D scans
  

• Focus on residential buildings being assessed for renovations or extensions
  

• Deliver clear, designfree technical drawings representing existing structures

  Requirements
  

  • Proven experience working with 3D point cloud data
    

  • Proficient in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Lite
    

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
    

  • Skilled at converting 3D point cloud slices into accurate 2D drawings
    

  • Strong attention to detail and technical precision
    

  • Access to a highperformance computer capable of running point cloud software
    

  • Reliable internet for remote collaboration
