Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, and will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, etc.) to define and solve business problems.
• Build predictive models and recommendation systems.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop data pipelines and automation tools for data collection and preprocessing.
• Monitor model performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Document methodologies, processes, and results for reproducibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design (A/B testing).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
• Knowledge of NLP, time-series analysis, or computer vision.
• Background in a specific domain such as e-commerce, finance, healthcare, etc.
