Data & AI Engineering Technical Lead

• Lead the design and development of a marketing engineering platform.
• Collaborate directly with a Tech Leads.
• Ramp up and mentor a team of developers in Mexico.
• Review code and architectural designs to ensure quality and scalability.
• Operate independently in highly ambiguous environments.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.

• 8+ years of experience as a technical lead.
• 2+ years working with Google3, Piper, and Borg.
• Strong experience building full stack applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for backend development.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data pipelines.
   

• Readability and fluency in Go and/or Python.
• Experience with AI Agents, Machine Learning, and MLOps.
• Familiarity with Boq and Boq Web.
• 200+ code reviews (CLs) in Critique.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions in uncertain contexts.
• Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams and cultures.
