Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

The Release Manager role will be responsible for deploying builds across the environment, onboarding new environment , Handling transversal projects and create release management related document and share release plan with the stakeholders

  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Facilitate release activities across all releases, mainly with ensuring quality, timely deployments across environments
  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business GoNoGo reviews with stakeholders
  • Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
  • Participate in CAB meetings to present Production changes (RFCs)
  • Lead and coordinate the GoLive activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
  • Weekly Release Reporting with Program release manager.
  • Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve processes, able to recommend continuous improvements viz: automation .
  • Comfortable in interacting with people across hierarchical levels for smooth project execution. Enjoys managing complex projects involving challenges.
    • Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

      • English Language is mandatory to collaborate in a global environment, including writing, speaking and presenting.
      • Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CDCI) pipelines
      • Good understanding of cloud deployment, preferably Azure and Agile practice
      • Knowledge on Deployment tool like Octopus
      • Knowledge on MS Project, ExcelMacros
      • Document Management for adhere to Audit Compliance process is an added advantage
      • 4 to 5 years of relevant release and deployment management experience
      • Demonstrated ability to coordinate crossfunctional work teams towards task completion
      • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
      • Strong in troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
