The BidManager is responsible forco creating,leadershipanddelivery ofbids.Bids in INRIXare opportunities for the business thateither come aspart of formalcustomer-led processes or opportunities that thebusiness has createdwithclients. The BidManager will own the submission of detailed, costed, persuasiveproposal – that wins.The role istoensure thatbids areboth successful but importantly the commercial case for INRIX is secure. Therefore, the BidManager will be responsible for securing internal alignment, the business case and cross functional concurrence. The BidManagerwillhave a strongcommercialoutlookwith goodtechnicalandprojectmanagement skills.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborating with colleagues in Sales and Business Development team to identify opportunitiesonwhichtosubmitbidsandfeedingintothedecisionoverwhethertobidfor the work.
Proactivelymonitor upcoming tenders in the market,registerandsubmitsuccessfulresponsesforthe business, to also include relevant governmentframeworks.
Manage and track identified bids, in progress, in negotiation and delivery to submission.
Lead on story boarding for winningabid,oncesignedonfordevelopment,including pinpointingtheuniquesellingpoints(keydifferentiators)ofINRIX.
Controlling the bid delivery process, involving researching, tasking others,writing, integratingand/orcheckingproposalssuchthatINRIXdeliverstheprofessionalproposalsand information across the lifecycle of the process.
Working with key members ofthe INRIXteam to obtain the informationrequiredtocompilethebid,andmaintaining / updating the existingbidlibraryandensuringdocumentcontrol activity.
Assessandaddressthetechnicalandcommercialrisksrelatingtothebidtheyareworking on, form a riskregister on larger bids and work withothersonmitigation strategies.
Working with bid partners and when appropriate forming bid structures such as joint bids and ventures. Manage virtual teams to deliver outcomes and put any appropriate legal structures in place.
