Doctoral degree in a related field or recognized by the relevant educational authority., At least 1 year of teaching experience at the degree level., Current practice experience as a PMHNP with active RN and APRN licenses., Proficiency with online teaching platforms, Microsoft Office, and reliable internet access..

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach courses using the eLearning platform and interact with students online.
  • Provide timely feedback and grades to students within established guidelines.
  • Maintain availability to students outside of class through office hours or online chats.
  • Participate in faculty training, residencies, and other assigned duties.

Contributing faculty members serve in a parttime capacity to educate Walden University Students by effectively and proficiently using online technology and resources so that knowledge, information, feedback, and critique are imparted to and shared with students in thoughtful, carefully formulated, well written, and timely communications. This is accomplished in an environment that is respectful of student, the Faculty Member, Walden University, and the discipline in which the Faculty Member is involved. Faculty Members are expected to adhere to all Walden University Faculty expectations, which are clearly set forth to the Faculty Member at the start of hisher employment with the University.
