Job Title : CPQ Full stack Developer

Purpose of Role: CPQ Full stack Developer

Digital Experience is a core pillar of Weirs digitisation strategy and the Group Digital Experience team will be leading the implementation of platforms, processes, and strategies to support this ambition. The role of CPQ Full stack Developer is to build, customize, test, data modelling for the end to end CPQ solution focused on following the overall technical architecture, providing technical design support to the team within the context of strategic architecture established by the separate enterprise architecture function and group guidelines and policies such as security. This role will be focused on the application of appropriate technologies, architecture patterns and best practices to the team’s deliverables to ensure they are performant, sustainable and deliver value to our internal customers. The role is within a globally distributed team and the ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, a selfstarter, a champion for the team, and passionate about delivering quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions to meet business requirements. Implement logic for product configuration, pricing rules, discounting, and quote generation by ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs. Conduct impact analysis to assess the effects of proposed changes on existing systems and processes.
  • Investigate, prioritize, and resolve bugs and issues reported during development and testing phases. Collaborate with QA and support teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Define and implement testing procedures, including preparation of test artifacts and reports.
  • Assist in data modelling, data migration, and data quality assurance during CPQ implementation or upgrades.
  • Continuously review and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
  • Exposures on system integrations between CPQ systems and other enterprise platforms such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and billing systems.
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure all development work adheres to coding standards, security guidelines, and compliance requirements. Participate in code reviews and knowledgesharing sessions
  • Participate in release planning, version control, and deployment activities. Ensure smooth rollouts of new features and updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable outcomes, coordinating resources and timelines effectively.

    • Job KnowledgeEducation and Qualifications:

      • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience andor training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
      • Must have experience in implementing CPQ (ConfiguretoOrder) solutions, preferably in a developer role using either custombuilt or industrystandard platforms. And Programming Proficiency and handson experience with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
      • Familiarity with lowcodenocode platforms, with preference for experience in KBMax Epicor.
      • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex problems, think critically, and develop effective technical solutions for complex concepts.
      • Experience with testing methodologies and tools, including the ability to define, execute, and document test cases and results.
      • Should have experience in integrating CPQ systems with other platforms like Salesforce, middleware solutions, Product Information Management (PIM), SAP, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
      • Strong background in designing and implementing cloudbased systems, particularly in digital environments. Experience with identity and access management and integrating these into endtoend digital solutions is highly desirable.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
      • Should have problemsolving and critical thinking skills, technical acumen, excellent communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas
      • Should have enough technical proficiency to successfully partner with the technical teams for building & validating the solutions.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
