The Opportunity:

The Senior IAM Analyst position plays a vital role in analyzing, strengthening and securing the company’s Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solution and overall security posture. In addition to being responsible for all work related to identity governance, access and permissions management, this position serves as a technical SME on projects. The individual provides tier 2 support to the IAM team, focuses on proactive analysis, and supports compliance strategies to continuously improve the organization’s security landscape. The successful individual will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a customer-focused, service-oriented environment by providing the highest quality of services.

Day in the Life:

  • Utilize SNOW ticketing system to create, track, and manage user access requests and incidents involving systems access. Maintain SLAs and ensure that requirements are met or exceeded; ensure that clients follow appropriate service procedures.

  • Provide second-level support on all access requests. Provide security guidance and make reliable security decisions with minimal supervision. Securely provision user access to company systems and infrastructure ensuring that system access is accurate and appropriate; applying least privilege and role-based access control (RBAC) models.

  • Analyze identity lifecycle issues; independently identify and analyze security risks/vulnerabilities, communicate risks to appropriate parties. Provide recommendations and assist with remediation.

  • Create and maintain process flows, systems documentation, and departmental procedures. Assists in the development and implementation of IGA solutions of secure user provisioning processes.

  • Participate as IAM subject matter expert in small/medium-scale projects supporting business initiatives. Participate in UAT testing for client conversions and deployments of new applications. Support IT compliance/attestation projects.

  • Serve as an on-call resource for incident response and operational functions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, such as Computer Information Systems or Cybersecurity, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Relevant technical or security certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Security+) preferred.

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in identity lifecycle management and production support.

  • Advance experience with Microsoft Active Directory required.  

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting preferred.

  • Advanced understanding of identity access management system components and directory services (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory,/EntraID/LDAP). Knowledge of governance and administration concepts. Strong technical, analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficient in Word and Excel. .

  • Ability to monitor and manage assigned tickets queues and tasks, with exceptional skills to prioritize, triage and understand the urgency of issues based on business needs.
